Why form a Living Trust? |
A living trust allows you to 'control' your assets once you have passed away. By creating a trust, you have the ability to: assert conditions on how you wish your assets to be distributed once you die, reduce the estate and gift taxes your assets are subject to, name a successor trustee who manages your trust once you die or become incapacitated, and allows your family members to avoid the extremely costly probate court.
